Great news!!

For all of those people in class who talked about Google being a good company to work for...there is good news!

Google announced this week that they will be hiring 6000 new employees this year.  They hired 4500 last year.  Why are they succeeding when so many other organizations are failing?

  1. Google succeeds because they have their toes in almost every industry. For example, they just launched a fashion aspect(which links new fashion trends to websites consumers can easily purchase the items) and Google voice. They are innovative and treat their employees well. When they find a talented individual, they do whatever it takes to hold on to them. This includes bonuses before they begin working and massages at work. Therefore, since their employees are more than satisfied, they perform to their optimal ability.

  2. I know this is true, my brother is lucky enough to work for google. He absolutely loves it. He said he cannot imagine having to leave and work for another company after working for them. He said they feed their employees very high quality food and he does not even need to grocery shop because he can take dinners home with him. They will cut your hair, provide entertainment on breaks, let you bring your dog to work, etc. In return google gets happy satisfied employees who will do their best to represent the company the best they can.
